Junk Removal Services Across Ontario

Old furniture, broken appliances, basement clutter, estate cleanouts — whatever you need gone, we haul it away responsibly. No move required.

Got Junk? We Handle It — Whether You Are Moving or Not

You do not need to be moving to need junk removed. Maybe your basement has been accumulating clutter for a decade. Maybe you finally replaced that old sectional and the delivery crew left the old one sitting in your living room. Maybe a parent has moved to long-term care and the family home needs to be cleared out. Maybe you just finished a renovation and there is a pile of old flooring and fixtures that needs to disappear.

Moving Co.’s junk removal service handles all of it — as a standalone service, on its own schedule, completely independent of any move. We remove unwanted furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, yard waste, and general household clutter from homes, garages, basements, storage units, and commercial spaces across Ontario. Our crews sort items for donation, recycling, and responsible disposal — we do not just dump everything in a landfill.

Of course, if you are also planning a move, we can bundle junk removal with your moving day for maximum efficiency. But plenty of our junk removal customers are not moving at all — they are simply reclaiming their space.

What We Remove

Furniture

Sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, desks, bed frames, mattresses, bookshelves — any furniture you no longer want. We haul it out of your home, down the stairs if needed, and take it away. Items in good condition are directed to donation centres when possible.

Appliances

Old refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, air conditioners, and water heaters. We handle the heavy lifting and ensure appliances are disposed of in compliance with local environmental regulations.

Electronics and E-Waste

Old televisions, computer equipment, printers, stereo systems, and other electronics. These items require proper e-waste disposal, and we make sure they end up at certified recycling facilities.

Mattresses and Box Springs

Mattresses are one of the most difficult items to dispose of on your own — they do not fit in a car, many donation centres will not accept them, and curbside pickup rules vary by municipality. We take them away, no hassle.

General Household Clutter

Boxes of old files, broken toys, holiday decorations you will never use again, garage overflow, basement storage buildup — we clear it all. If you can point to it and say you want it gone, we will remove it.

Renovation and Yard Debris

Light renovation materials like old flooring, drywall scraps, and fixtures, as well as yard waste such as branches, soil, and old fencing. For large-scale demolition debris, we can discuss options based on volume and material type.

Standalone Service or Moving Day Add-On — Your Choice

Moving Co.’s junk removal works two ways, and both are equally popular.

As a standalone service, you book us to come on any day that works for you. We show up with a truck and a crew, you point to what needs to go, and we haul it away. Simple. This is how most of our junk removal customers use the service — homeowners clearing garages, families handling estate cleanouts, landlords turning over rental properties, or anyone who has finally decided that the treadmill collecting dust in the basement has to go.

As a moving day add-on, we combine junk removal with your move. On moving day, our crew loads what you are keeping onto the moving truck and takes what you are not keeping to the appropriate disposal or donation destination. One team, one day, one bill. It is the most efficient way to handle a move that involves decluttering.

Either way, the process is the same: you tell us what needs to go, we give you a quote, and we take care of the rest.

Common Junk Removal Scenarios

  • Garage, basement, or attic cleanouts — clearing years of accumulated items
  • Estate cleanouts after a family member has passed away or moved to long-term care
  • Removing old furniture after a new purchase — couches, mattresses, dining sets
  • Post-renovation cleanup — removing old materials, fixtures, cabinets, and flooring
  • Clearing a rental property between tenants
  • Storage unit cleanouts when you realize you have been paying monthly rent on things you no longer need
  • Pre-move decluttering — removing items you do not want to bring to your new home
  • Commercial and office cleanouts — old desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and equipment
  • Seasonal yard waste and outdoor debris removal
  • Removing bulky items that cannot go to curbside pickup — mattresses, appliances, hot tubs

Tips for Junk Removal

  • Walk through your space before booking and identify everything you want removed. A rough list or photos help us estimate time and truck space accurately.
  • Separate items you want donated from items you want disposed of. We will make sure usable items get to the right places.
  • You do not need to drag items to the curb or to your driveway. Our crew will come inside, go upstairs, go into the basement — wherever the junk is, we will get it.
  • If combining with a move, let us know during the booking process. We will plan the crew and truck size to handle both the move and the removal.
  • Check your municipality’s bulky item pickup schedule. Sometimes curbside pickup is free for certain items — we can handle the rest.
  • If you have hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, propane tanks), let us know. These items require special handling and may not be included in standard removal.
