The transparent rate

Most Toronto moving companies bury their actual rates behind “call for quote” pages because their pricing models are designed to surprise you. We don’t.

$50/hr per mover. That’s it. Two movers means $100/hr. Three movers means $150/hr. Four movers means $200/hr. The truck, blankets, dollies, straps, and standard insurance are all included. There is no separate “truck fee,” “fuel surcharge,” “equipment fee,” or “trip fee” added at the end.

We bill in 30-minute increments after the first hour. If your move takes 2 hours and 15 minutes with two movers, you pay for 2 hours and 30 minutes β€” not the “3-hour minimum that conveniently rounded up.”

What you’ll actually pay

These are real ranges based on hundreds of Toronto-area moves we’ve completed. Every move is different β€” stairs, distance, packing complexity β€” but most jobs fall in these brackets.

Long-distance pricing (Toronto to other cities)

Long-haul moves are quoted as flat rates rather than hourly because the time variable is mostly drive time, which we don’t bill at the in-town rate.

How we compare to Toronto’s big-name movers

The dirty secret of the Toronto moving market is that most “$50/hr” advertised rates have a 3- or 4-hour minimum, plus a “trip fee,” plus a fuel surcharge β€” your actual cost for a 90-minute studio move is $400+, not $75.
